Hot Consolidation of Titanium Powders

چکیده
A novel method of the hot consolidation metal powders with shear deformation is proposed. The were encapsulated into tight containers and compacted after short-term heating in a furnace preheated to 900 °C. prevents powder oxidation, peripheral spalling ensures removal oxide films from surfaces. Commercial titanium different dispersivities impurity concentrations hot-compacted. microstructure, hardness bending strength compacts investigated. fine PTOM-1 powder, containing 0.32% hydrogen, reveal greatest values strength. Additional annealing results 60% increase
